Nonni’s Biscotti Announces Second Annual Celebrity Mug Auction
Proceeds Will Benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research
Tulsa, Okla. (March 11, 2008) – Last October, Nonni’s Biscotti teamed up with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation to raise money for breast cancer research by auctioning off dozens of pink celebrity-signed latte mugs. Nearly 50 mugs were autographed by celebrities during the Haven House Gifting Suite at The Academy Awards including Sasha Cohen, Neve Campbell, James Woods, Lil’ Kim, Josh Henderson and Tyler Hilton. The program was such a success that this year they have decided to launch the second annual celebrity mug auction, in which the Nonni’s Biscotti collector’s items will be signed during the MTV Movie Awards at the end of May and Daytime Emmys in mid-June. The autographed mugs will be available to bid on during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when they are posted on the eBay Giving Works site and at www.nonnis.com with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
“The celebrity mug auction is not only a fun event, it is one more way Nonni’s Biscotti can help create awareness and support for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in their mission to end breast cancer forever,” said Matt Duffy, marketing manager, Nonni’s Biscotti. “We are proud to be able to contribute to an organization making great strides for women with breast cancer, their families and friends.”
In addition, for every package of Old London branded snacks purchased throughout October 31 and entered online, Old London will donate 75 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer research.
Breast cancer continues to affect millions of women and their friends and families every year. In the 25 years since its inception, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has invested nearly $1 billion in research, education and health services. With the continued support of companies like The Nonni’s Food Company, Komen for the Cure will be able to achieve its vision of a world without breast cancer.

About Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure,
